Kenneth Lai

Kenneth Lai is a PhD student in computational linguistics at Brandeis University, working on multimodal (language, gesture, etc.) meaning representations and their application to how common ground is constructed in classroom and other learning environments. He is a Dartmouth alumnus, where he studied linguistics and chemistry; he received an MA from Brandeis in computational linguistics, and has worked professionally at Mass General Brigham in Boston. His research interests include meaning representations and computational semantics more broadly, as well as biomedical informatics and medical natural language processing.
