Former Linguistics Student Featured in a Wired Magazine show

Our former LING student Kalina Newmark '11 is featured in a Wired Magazine show about dialect features throughout the US. Watch the Wired Magazine YouTube video for a brief clip by Kalina where she discusses Native American English. This Wired video already has 1.3 million views!

Also, former LING students Zachary Cooper '17 and Nacole Walker '11 along with Professor James Stanford provided some consulting on Native American English as Wired developed this show. In the past, Zachary, Nacole, and Jim co-authored some research publications and conference presentations on this topic together, along with other Dartmouth Native students as well.
