New Project on Life and Language in New England

As part of the Dartmouth Linguistics Program's continuing effort to document life and language in New England and engage with local community members, our Society of Fellows post-doctoral fellow Dr. Monica Nesbitt is leading a team of Dartmouth sociolinguistics researchers who are interviewing Black/African American residents of Eastern Massachusetts this summer and fall term.
The research project offers $12 gift cards for those willing to talk with our student researchers (via Zoom) for 45 minutes. You can sign up to participate here: https://rcweb.dartmouth.edu/WilliamsM/EasternMassProject/
