Dartmouth Linguistics alumnae featured in a radio program

Linguistics alumnae Kalina Newmark '11 and Nacole Walker '11 were guest hosts on a nationwide Native American radio show discussing their NSF-funded research on Native American English dialect features. The research began as a student project in a 2010 sociolinguistics class at Dartmouth. Kalina and Nacole co-hosted a one-hour call-in program on the radio show "Native America Calling" (March 31, 2015). Other linguistics students who have been involved in the research project include Maggie Seawright '17, Zachary Cooper '17, Sydney Allard '16, Jacob Ammon '15, Kayla Atcitty '17, Andrew Zulker '15, Emily Grabowski '18, Emily Harwell '16, and Abbie Kouzmanoff '15.
